Discussion and Possible Action on a Resolution Approving City Council Payment of <br /> the Employee Contribution Portion of the City's Ca1PERS Retirement Plan. <br /> Public Comments: <br /> Dave Johnson, San Leandro Chamber of Commerce, addressed the City Council, <br /> expressing support for the resolution, calling it an important step. <br /> Mike Katz, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, commenting that San <br /> Leandro is only one of three cities that pays the employee portion of PERS, and urging <br /> the Council to adopt the resolution. <br /> End of Public Comments <br /> 1. Resolution No. 2011 -137, Resolution for Paying and Reporting the Value of <br /> Employer -Paid Member Contribution (EPMC) (authorizes the Mayor and all City <br /> Councilmembers to fully pay their employee contribution amount of 7% or 8 %). <br /> M /S /C Prola and Cutter. Motion Selecting Teri Black and Company as the <br /> Recruitment Firm to Provide Professional Services in Connection with the City <br /> Manager Recruitment Process and Authorizing the Interim City Manager to <br /> Negotiate and Enter into a Professional Services Contract Between the City and <br /> Teri Black and Company. <br /> The City Council selected Teri Black and Company as the recruitment firm <br /> to provide professional services in connection with the City Manager <br /> recruitment process and authorized the Interim City Manager to negotiate <br /> and enter into a professional services contract between the City and Teri <br /> Black and Company. <br /> M /S /C Starosciak and Souza.
