Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Members Badger, Grant, Nardine, Santos, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Young <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />2. PRESENTATIONS/RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />Mayor Young announced the following presentations made since the last regular meeting: <br /> <br />. A Proclamation was issued declaring June 6, 200S as "Jean Schroeder Day" in San <br />Leandro in appreciation for Mrs. Schroeder's 12 years as Principal of Assumption <br />Catholic School and 30 years in the teaching profession. <br />. A Certificate of Recognition was presented to the Leadership San Leandro Class of 2004- <br />OS. <br />. A Proclamation was issued declaring May 30, 200S as "Antoinette Victorino Day" in San <br />Leandro in honor of Ms. Victorino's 100th birthday. <br />. A Commendation was presented to the Port of Oakland in recognition of the Sth <br />Anniversary ofthe Maritime and Aviation Project Labor Agreement. <br />. A Commendation was presented to Bancroft Middle School Girls Wrestling Team on <br />winning the California Middle School Girls State Wrestling Championships. <br />. Contributions were made from the Mayor's Community Fund to the following <br />organizations: <br />Community Resources for Independent Living. <br />Tres Ranchos Boy Scouts of America. <br />George Mark Children's House. <br />San Leandro High FootbalL <br />San Leandro High School After Grad Party. <br />San Leandro Scholarship Foundation. <br />American Cancer Society. <br />· San Leandro High School Notables. <br />San Leandro High School for the Annual Campout for Students with Disabilities. <br />. A Proclamation was issued declaring May 17-23, 200S as "San Leandro Police <br />Recognition Week" in San Leandro. <br />. A Certificate of Recognition was presented to Saumirah Mc Woodson for being chosen <br />the recipient of the "Mayor's Award of Merit in the Arts" scholarship. <br />
