If it is not, staff will come back to the Council at mid-year to request additional funding. Councilmember Nardine commented that, at the work session, she had requested a list of time-sensitive street projects. Mr. Jermanis asked Mr. Joseph about the $1 million street rehabilitation/reconstruction project. Mr. Joseph indicated that the projects in the street rehabilitation/reconstruction have all been identified. He stated that typically, design work will begin shortly after the budget is approved, and construction begins the next spring. Councilmember Nardine clarified that her question was related to Mr. Udemezue's comment that the City is always one year out for planning, and it would be helpful if the Council had the list of those projects prior to making decisions on the budget. Mr. J ermanis indicated that the Engineering & Transportation Department has developed a document that sets priorities on projects that have not yet come before the Council, and he suggested that the list could be reviewed by the Finance Committee. Mayor Young asked Vice Mayor Badger, as the maker of the motion, ifhe would like to amend the motion as requested by Councilmember Starosciak. Vice Mayor Badger indicated that he would agree to an amendment; however, Councilmember Santos, who seconded the motion, instead called the question. .
