<br />MINUTES Page 4 <br />City of San Leandro City Council and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting-November 7, 2005 <br /> <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the <br />Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it <br />to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names <br />and addresses obtained. <br /> <br />A. Matter of PLN2005-00005; Planned Development and Zoning Map Amendment; to <br />rezone the property at 15301 Farnsworth Street from RS Residential Single-Family <br />District to RS(PD) Residential Single-Family Planned Development Overlay District; <br />Planned Development to create two single-family lots, with a new two-story single- <br />family home on a 4,483-square-foot interior lot, and an existing home on a 5,675- <br />square-foot corner lot; 15301 Farnsworth Street (at Burkhart Avenue); Assessor's Parcel <br />Number 80G-1369-19; RAM Engineering Consulting Services, Applicant; T. Hoang, <br />Property Owner; RS Residential Single-Family District. <br /> <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, City Manager <br />Jermanis introduced Planner II Sally Barros. Ms. Barros gave a short PowerPoint <br />presentation describing the proposed ordinance and Planned Development for 15301 <br />Farnsworth Street. <br /> <br />The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br /> <br />Lou Filipovich, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, inquiring whether <br />there are any redevelopment areas in Washington Manor and whether this project has <br />anything to do with redevelopment. He commented on the construction of two-story <br />buildings and parking issues in Washington Manor. <br /> <br />There being no further comments from the public, and without objection, the Public <br />Hearing was closed. <br /> <br />Councilmember Santos suggested that the replacement of the cyclone fence with a <br />three-foot redwood fence be specified in the Conditions of Approval. <br /> <br />. Ordinance No. 2005-024, an Ordinance Zoning Certain Property Herein <br />Described as to Rezoning District and Amending Zoning Map, PLN2005-00005, <br />15301 Farnsworth Street, Assessor's Parcel No. 80G-1369-19. (1009/1024/1099) <br /> <br />- Passed to Print with amendment to Conditions of Approval to specify <br />replacement of the existing chain link fence with a three-foot redwood <br />fence. <br /> <br />M/S/C Starosciak and Santos. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />. Minute Order No. 2005-046, Motion Approving the Planned Development <br />PLN2005-00005; to create two separate lots, with a new two-story single-family <br /> <br />
