Report on Closed Session Actions Taken <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />11. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> <br />A. Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies <br /> <br />Mayor Young provided to the Council a report on the completion of the LA VWMA <br />export pipeline. <br /> <br />Mayor Young reported that she received a letter from the Corrections Standards <br />Authority in Sacramento which gave a positive report on the San Leandro City Jail. <br /> <br />B. Reports on City Council Committees <br /> <br />1. Finance Committee Meeting of December 7, 2005. Accepted as submitted. <br /> <br />Recommendation for City Council Consideration: <br /> <br />a. Schedule discussion on the Business License Tax Proposal "Modified <br />Scenario lA." <br /> <br />By consensus, the City Council approved this recommendation to <br />schedule the matter on a future Council agenda. <br /> <br />12. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Badger reported that he attended National League of Cities Conference in <br />Charlotte, North Carolina earlier this month. He commented on a mobile workshop on <br />neighborhood preservation, which utilized a team decision-making concept to address <br />neighborhood problems. Vice Mayor Badger suggested that the concept could be used in San <br />Leandro in partnership with homeowners associations. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Badger requested tonight's meeting be adjourned in memory of Ed Costa and <br />Marnelle Vieira-Ducey. <br /> <br />Councilmember Nardine commented that the notification sign for the red light camera at <br />W ashington Avenue and Floresta Boulevard is on the side of the roadway and not highly <br />visible. She noted that in the material presented to Council, signs were mounted on poles <br /> <br />
