PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Public Comments may be limited to 3 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the <br />Mayor. The public is invited to make any comments related to Agenda items, or other items <br />of public interest, at this time. <br /> <br />4. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Santos commented that he had read a news article about an attempt by <br />Congress to suspend provisions of Proposition 65, which relate to the labeling of chemicals. <br /> <br />Councilmember Nardine commented that she saw aerial photos of the storm damage, and they <br />were quite interesting. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Badger commented that he took a tour of the storm-damaged trail, and he felt <br />there was more damage than the $1.8 million originally reported. <br /> <br />Councilmember Starosciak requested that information on the shoreline cleanup event be <br />forwarded to the School District for distribution to the schools. <br /> <br />Mayor Young suggested the City Council Rules and Communications Committee should <br />review the Council's policy relating to individual Members of the Council writing letters in <br />support of projects. <br /> <br />5.
