Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 Newly-appointed Conunissioners Ursula Reed and Rosemary Trujillo took the Oath of Office administered by City Clerk Marian Handa. 3. PUBLIC HEARINGS Public Hearing Conunents are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and addresses obtained. Bo Johansen, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council regarding the timing of the street sweeping on Walnut Drive, which is performed prior to refuse pickup. Mr. Johansen conunented on the placement of the street lights and resulting safety issues on Walnut. Harold Perez, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council regarding a recent public notice published in a local newspaper which listed Stericycle and other San Leandro businesses. Mr. Perez commented about eliminating the proliferation of junk mail and the need for tougher enforcement of conununity preservation issues.
