Each unit would comprise approximately 1,455 square feet of living <br />area, which includes three bedrooms and three baths. Each unit would have a <br />detached two~car garage. 1537 Hays Street; Alameda County Assessor's Parcel <br />Numbers 75-12~7; D. Langon, Langon Homes (applicant and property owner). <br />[Penaranda] <br /> <br />Planner Penaranda noted that the matter had been considered at the June 8, 2006 <br />Plarming Commission meeting and resulted in a tie vote. Subsequently the Planning <br />Commission continued the meeting, requesting that the applicant address some of the <br />design concerns that had been expressed by commissioners, in order to allow another <br />vote on the project. He said the applicant has made some revisions to the plans, which he <br />briefly outlined, as follows: <br />. A porch element with decorative railing has been added along the frontage of the <br />two units that face Hays Street, served by a walkway from the street going direct <br />to the door on the front porch. The stairs have been shifted to make way for the <br />front door that faces the street. <br />· The side doors facing the interior courtyard have been revised to be windows. <br />
