<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-023 <br /> <br />(2938/2959) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE BAY AREA AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT TO PROVIDE $57,770 <br />IN TRANSPORT A nON FUND FOR CLEAN AIR (TFCA) FUNDS FOR <br />OPERATION OF THE LINKS SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE UTILIZING <br />COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS VEHICLES <br /> <br />Recitals <br /> <br />An Agreement between the City of San Leandro and Bay Area Air Quality Management <br /> <br />District (BAAQMD), a copy of which is attached hereto, has been presented to this Council. <br /> <br />The City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br /> <br />The City Manager has recommended the approval of said document. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />That said agreement is hereby approved and execution thereofby the City Manager is <br /> <br />hereby authorized. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Santos and passed and adopted this 6th day of March, <br /> <br />2006, by the following called vote: <br /> <br />Members ofthe Council: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Badger, Grant, Nardine, Santos, Starosciak, Stephens (6) <br /> <br />NOES: None (0) <br /> <br />ABSENT: Mayor Young (1) <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
