WPCP Effluent P&S 2 November 6, 2006 Analysis The American Golf Company has agreed to purchase this water from the City and use it for irrigation. The State grant will cover approximately 20% of the construction costs associated with this project. Current City Council Policy . None Previous City Council Action(s) . On November 18,2002 by Resolution No. 2002-162, the City Council authorized filing for a water recycling planning grant application . On October 6, 2003 by Resolution No. 2003-209, the City Council approved a consulting services agreement with Kennedy/Jenks Consultants for preparation of the recycled water project facilities planning report, and by Resolution No. 2003-210, approved a consulting services agreement with Environmental Science Associates for preparation of an environmental review . On January 18, 2005 by Resolution No. 2005-003, the City Council authorized filing of a recycled water construction grant . On March 7, 2005 by Resolution No. 2005-020, the City Council adopted a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the San Leandro Recycled Water Project . On May 1, 2006 by Resolution No. 2006-044 the City Council authorized a contractual services agreement to Kennedy/Jenks Consultants for the design of these improvements . On September 18, 2006 by Resolution No. 2006-108, the City Council approved an agreement with American Golf Corporation to purchase water for irrigation City Council Committee Review and Action . This project was reviewed and recommended by the Marina Ad-Hoc Committee in 2002 Applicable General Plan Policy Not Applicable Permits and/or Variances Granted . This project has been submitted for permits from the City of San Leandro Building Department, the State of California Division of Health Services, and the Regional Water Quality Control Board. Environmental Review . A Mitigated Negative Declaration has been filed for this project
