Schedule review of settlement threshold for claims on a future City Council <br />agenda. <br /> <br />By consensus, the City Council approved this recommendation. <br /> <br />b. Schedule consideration of embarkment on an annual newsletter or <br />newspaper reminding business owners of the business license tax, including <br />rates and due dates. <br /> <br />By consensus, the City Council approved this recommendation. <br /> <br /> <br />12. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Santos requested tonight’s meeting be adjourned in memory of Wayne <br />Glaze, brother of former City Councilman Bob Glaze. <br /> <br />Councilmember Badger requested tonight’s meeting also be adjourned in memory of Alvin <br />Mertz, an active member of Assumption Parrish and its Men’s Club; and in memory of <br />st <br />Floyd Dade, Jr., a member of the 761 Tank Battalion, the first all-black tank battalion <br />assigned to General Patton during World War II. <br /> <br />Mayor Young commented that tonight’s meeting would also be adjourned in memory of <br />Margarita Tapia, mother of City employee John Tapia. <br /> <br /> <br />13.
