<br />SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE <br /> <br />TITLE ~ J. <br /> <br />RECULATION OF SMOKINC IN CITY F~'\CILITIES <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />Chapter I J. <br /> <br />Authorization; Prohibitions, BnEl SigHS <br />Reeulation of Smokine in City Facilities <br /> <br />~~2.2.100: ADOPTION OF A SMOKING POLICY. Title PI 1., Chapter 12, Section 4-12- <br />600 of the San Leandro Municipal Code of 1995 provides that within three ill months after the <br />effective date of this Section, every employer regularly employing four ill or more persons in <br />any building or structure in the City of San Leandro shall adopt, implement and maintain a <br />written smoking policy. Pursuant thereto, the City of San Leandro adopts the following rules <br />and regulations governing smoking in all City-owned facilities. <br /> <br />&~2.2.200: AREAS WHERE SMOKING IS PROHIBITED. Smoking is prohibited in and <br />within 20 feet of a main. exit. entrance. or oDerable window of all facilities owned and operated <br />or leased and operated by the City of San Leandro or by a concessionaire of the City. <br /> <br />~:W.h2.2.300: SIGNAGE. Pursuant to Section 6404.5(c)(I)(A) of the California Labor Code <br />and Section 7597(a) of the California Government Code, the City Manager shall post or cause to <br />be posted "No Smoking .Within 20 Feet" signs in conspicuous locations at each entrance to each <br />facility owned and operated or leased and operated by the City of San Leandro or by a <br />concessionaire of the City. <br /> <br />Editor's Note: <br />Former Title 30.
