<br />Bidding assistance activities shall be performed on an hourly basis. However, any additional <br />work to correct errors or omissions in the design documents during the bidding phase will be <br />made at no cost to the City. Consultant shall obtain pre-approval from the City prior to <br />performing any of these hourly services. <br /> <br />Services to be provided during the bid period may include the following activities: <br />· attendance at the pre.bid conference <br />. responding to contractors' questions <br />. review of the bids received <br />. attend a briefing with the low bidder and the City to clarify any uncertain issues (if <br />required) <br />· recommendation for award of contract. <br />. Other tasks as necessary and pre.approved by the City <br /> <br />5.02 Construction administration services <br />Construction administration services shall be reimbursed on an hourly basis. However, any <br />additional work to correct errors or omissions in the design documents will be made at no cost to <br />the City. Consultant shall obtain pre.approval from the City prior to performing any of these <br />hourly services. <br /> <br />Construction administration services may include any of the following activities, or Pre.bid and <br />pre~construction meetings <br />· Shop Drawings, Samples, and Submittals Review <br />. Requests for Information (RFI' s) <br />· Requests for Quotations (RFQ's) <br />. Evaluation of Substitutions <br />· Site Construction Review <br />· Field / Site Reviews <br />. Preparation of Record Drawings <br />· Other tasks as necessary and pre.approved by the City <br /> <br />6.0 Topographic Survey <br />A final topographic survey for the project site will be prepared under a separate contract. <br /> <br />7.0 Schedule <br /> <br />Project schedule in very important to meet school construction deadlines and restrictions and windows of <br />opportunity. The following is the schedule for completion of the construction documents and bid package <br />for this proj ect. <br />· Notice to proceed NOV 21, 2006 <br />. Submit 30% package DEC 15,2006 <br />· City review IAN 1, 2007 <br />. Submit 90% package FEB 1, 2007 <br />. City review FEB 14,2007 <br />. Submit Final Bid documents MAR 9, 2007 <br /> <br />The following is the projected construction timeline: <br />· Bid period MAR 19,2007 <br />.
