<br />3.04 Final Bid Documents (100% completion) <br /> <br />The consultant will make any corrections noted, and submit the final construction documents to <br />the City for their final approval and use as the Bid documents. At a minimum, this submittal shall <br />include: <br />· Final construction drawings, signed by licensed professionals as necessary <br />· Letter from consultant that plans have been quality control checked internally <br />· Final technical specifications. <br />· Fly sheet for technical specs signed by design engineers <br />. Final Estimate <br /> <br />3.05 Final Cost Estimate <br />Prepare a final opinion of probable construction cost, advising the City of any adjustments to <br />previous estimateslbudgets due to changes in project requirements or general market conditions. <br /> <br />3.06 Final Submittal <br />Reproducible plans, specifications, and estimates will be submitted to the City for their use in <br />duplication and distribution of bid sets. The final submittal will be in the form of one set of <br />reproducible drawings, one hard copy and one set of camera ready specifications, and electronic <br />files. <br /> <br />3.07 Quality Control, Project Management and Coordination <br /> <br />All design documents will be checked, revised, and back-checked prior to submittals to the City. <br />Coordination and management of subconsultants will be maintained throughout the life of the <br />project. <br /> <br />4.0 DSA Permit Processing Services <br /> <br />4.01 DSA Permit Processing Services <br />It is anticipated the project will require State of California Division of State Architect (DSA) <br />permit approval for structural safety for the 20-foot-tall fence post foundations, and for <br />accessibility compliance. The City and/or School District will have the primary responsibility for <br />all permitting, processing, and coordination with the DSA. Harris Design is available to provide <br />assistance as needed to accomplish this task. Harris Design will provide all necessary design <br />information, including the fence footing design and stamped calculations. <br /> <br />An allowance for hourly services is provided project budget for additional services that may be <br />required for DSA approval, including: <br />. Preparation of permit applications <br />. Preparation of additional exhibits needed for permit application, if any <br />· Telephone coordination specifically related to DSA review and permitting <br />. Meeting preparation and attendance <br />.
