24

August 2, 2006

San Leandro City Clerk
835 E. 14th Street
San Leandro, CA 94577

Dear Sir or Madam:

Subject: 2888 Darius Way

Weare objecting to the size of the projected home. It ~oes not integrate with the existing
homes in the area as it is more than twice as large as the largest home in the Bay-O. Vista
community. Also of concern, is the number of bedrooms and bathrooms being
incorporated in the home. We can understand a home for extended family, however a
home with this many bedrooms and bathrooms would indicate a multiple family structure
which be against the area zoning.

Though the home would not affect our view, from our observation it would obstruct
views of our neighbors that back to the property and set precedence on future projects.
Another major concern is the impact this project would have on the integrity of the hill.
The hillside was significantly cut back several years ago and portions of the proposed
building would cut in to the lower portion and may create stress to the upper part of the
slope.

Sincerely,
