<br />TOD Draft Strategy Plan Concepts <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />December 4, 2006 <br /> <br />Previous City Council Action(s) <br />The City Council chose a 27 member Citizen Advisory Committee and approved a Contractual <br />Services Agreement with BMS Design Group on January 3,2006. <br /> <br />City Council Committee Review and Action <br />Not applicable. <br /> <br />Applicable General Plan Policy <br />Not applicable. <br /> <br />Permits and/or Variances Granted <br />Not applicable. <br /> <br />Environmental Review <br />Not applicable. <br /> <br />Code Compliance Review <br />Not applicable. <br /> <br />Board/Commission Findines <br />Not applicable. <br /> <br />Summary of Public Outreach Efforts <br />The Draft Strategy Plan Concepts report was mailed to the Citizens Advisory Committee and is also <br />available on the City of San Leandro website on the Downtown Transit Oriented Development <br />Strategy Overview page (see http://www.ci.san_Ieandro.ca.us/slcommdevTODoview.html). The <br />main library has also been supplied with a copy of the report. <br /> <br />Fiscal Impact <br />The City of San Leandro is a grant recipient of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission. This <br />Draft Strategy Plan Concepts report was prepared as part of that effort. The City of San Leandro <br />budget will not be impacted. <br /> <br />Budeet Authority <br />The City of San Leandro is a grant recipient of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission in the <br />amount of $450,000. A supplemental planning grant of approximately $50,000 has also been <br />provided by Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority (ACTIA). <br /> <br />CONCLUSION <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council provide comments on the Draft Strategy Plan Concepts <br />report for the Downtown TOD Strategy. <br />
