MINUTES Page 4
City of San Leandro City COlUlCil and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting-November 20, 2006

6. CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS AND COMMENTS

City Manager Jermanis conunented that the Engineering and Transportation Department will
look into the signage issues on Davis Street raised by Mr. Perez. Regarding the 1-580 sound
wall, Mr. Jermanis noted the importance of minimizing changes to the sound wall project, as
changes would cause delays to the project's completion. He pointed out that it is a
CMNCaltrans project, and while the City can facilitate the conununication and outreach, the
City does not have the same level of control as it has with a City project on City property.

7.
