<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />(2121/2639/2930) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT THE MEASURE B <br />PARA TRANSIT APPLICATION AND GAP FUND APPLICATION FOR THE <br />EXPENDITURE OF MEASURE B P ARATRANSIT FUNDS IN FY 2006-07 TO THE <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY (ACTIA), AND <br />TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS IN SUPPORT OF THESE <br />ACTIVITIES <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-043 <br /> <br />Recitals <br /> <br />WHEREAS, before Measure B Paratransit funds and Gap funds will be made available to <br />local agencies, the LOCAL AGENCY is required to approve the annual application for Measure <br />B Paratransit funding and Gap fund application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ACTIA requires a resolution approving the annual applications. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council authorizes the City Manager to submit the Measure B Paratransit <br />Application and Gap Fund Application for the expenditure of Measure B Paratransit funds in FY <br />2006-07 to ACTIA, and to negotiate and execute all documents in support of these activities. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution will be transmitted to <br />ACTIA. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Santos and passed and adopted this 1 st day of May 2006, <br />by the following called vote: <br /> <br />Members ofthe Council: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Badger, Grant, Santos, Starosciak, Stephens; Mayor Young (6) <br /> <br />NOES: None (0) <br /> <br />ABSENT: CouncilmemberNardine (1) <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~ gJcw11- <br /> <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
