<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-062 <br /> <br />(1556) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING THE SURPLUS OF NINETEEN (19) VEHICLES, FOUR (4) <br />PIECES OF HEAVY EQUIPMENT AND ONE (1) BOAT AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE <br />THEREOF AT PUBLIC AUCTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1-6-511 of the San Leandro Municipal Code authorizes the City's <br />Purchasing Agent to sell equipment which has become unsuitable or unnecessary for the City <br />purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, nineteen (19) vehicles, four (4) pieces of heavy equipment and one (1) boat <br />have been identified as no longer useful to City operations and therefore should be declared surplus <br />and sold at auction. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Following public notice as may be required by law and in accordance with Section 1-6-500 <br />of the San Leandro Municipal Code the declaration of surplus and authorization of the sale of four <br />(4) pieces of heavy equipment, nineteen (19) vehicles, and one (1) boat at a public auction <br />scheduled for June 24, 2006 and August 5, 2006 is hereby noted. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Santos and passed and adopted this 19th day of June, 2006 by <br />the following called vote: <br /> <br />Members of the Council: <br /> <br />ABSENT: Mayor Young <br /> <br />(6) <br />(0) <br />(1) <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Badger, Grant, Nardine, Santos, Starosciak, Stephens <br /> <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~\~ <br /> <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
