<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-070 <br /> <br />(2930/3023) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE WORK FOR WESTGATE P ARKW A Y EXTENSION TO <br />WILLIAMS STREET, (STAGE 1), PROJECT NO. 144-39-003, ACTIA PROJECT NO. 18A <br /> <br />Pursuant to a contract between the City and Bay Cities Paving & Grading, Inc., dated <br /> <br />July 19,2004, by Resolution No. 2004-122, Westgate Parkway Extension to Williams Street <br /> <br />(Stage 1), ACTIA Project No. 18, Project No. 144-39-003, has been completed. <br /> <br />Said work has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore <br /> <br />and to the satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation Director, and he therefore <br /> <br />recommends that said work be accepted. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. That the work hereinbefore described is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a Notice of Completion on said <br /> <br />project. <br /> <br />3. That the bonds heretofore given for performance and payment of said conditions <br /> <br />are hereby discharged and exonerated from further liability. <br /> <br />4. That upon completion of the one-year Maintenance Period established pursuant <br /> <br />to said contract, and to the satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation <br /> <br />Director, the City Manager is hereby authorized to release the bond heretofore <br /> <br />given for maintenance of the work hereinbefore described. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Santos and passed and adopted this 19th day of June 2006, <br /> <br />by the following called vote: <br />
