<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />(2930/3023) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE WORK FOR WESTGATE PARKWAY EXTENSION TO <br />WILLIAMS STREET (STAGE 1B), PROJECT NO. 04-144-39-003, ACTIA PROJECT NO. 18 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-071 <br /> <br />Pursuant to a contract between the City and Ray's Electric, dated June 20, 2005, by <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2005-093, Westgate Parkway Extension to Williams Street (Stage IB), Project <br /> <br />No. 04-144-39-003, ACTIA Project No. 18, has been completed. <br /> <br />Said work has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore <br /> <br />and to the satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation Director, and he therefore <br /> <br />recommends that said work be accepted. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. That the work hereinbefore described is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a Notice of Completion on said <br /> <br />proj ecl. <br /> <br />3. That the bonds heretofore given for performance and payment of said conditions <br /> <br />are hereby discharged and exonerated from further liability. <br /> <br />4. That upon completion of the one-year Maintenance Period established pursuant <br /> <br />to said contract, and to the satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation <br /> <br />Director, the City Manager is hereby authorized to release the bond heretofore <br /> <br />given for maintenance ofthe work hereinbefore described. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Santos and passed and adopted this 19th day of June 2006, <br /> <br />by the following called vote: <br />
