<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-080 <br /> <br />(1078/1203/1221 ) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS <br />(SEWER SERVICE CHARGES, CODE VIOLATION PENALTIES AND/OR WEED <br />ABATEMENT CHARGES, AND BUSINESS LICENSE AND WEST SAN LEANDRO <br />SHUTTLE BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT FEES) <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro has conducted a public hearing on the <br />assessments proposed to be levied for non-payment of delinquent sewer service charges, code <br />violation penalties and/or weed abatement charges, and business license and West San Leandro <br />Shuttle Business Improvement District fees, said hearing conducted at 7:00 p.m. on <br />July 17, 2006 in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 835 East 14th Street, San Leandro, CA <br />94577. <br /> <br />At or before the time set for hearing, owners or persons in possession of the property <br />described in the Report of the Finance Director made protests or objections to the proposed <br />assessments. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That each of these protests or objections, written or oral, is hereby overruled. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Santos and passed and adopted this 17th day of July, 2006 <br />by the following called vote: <br /> <br />Members of the Council: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Badger, Grant, Nardine, Santos, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Young (7) <br /> <br />NOES: None (0) <br /> <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
