<br />2. To control storm water pollution, the Developer shall comply with the regulations and <br />provisions contained in the City's Grading Ordinance, the City's Storm Water <br />Pollution Prevention Permit, and the NPDES, to the satisfaction of the City Engineer <br />and Regional Water Quality Control Board. <br /> <br />3. The plans shall also include erosion control measures to prevent soil, dirt and debris <br />from entering the storm drain system, in accordance with the practices outlined in the <br />ABAG Erosion and Sediment Control Handbook, California Storm Water Best <br />Management Practice Handbooks, and the Regional Water Quality Control Board's <br />Erosion and Sediment Control Field Manual. <br /> <br />4. Until such time as all construction for the development has been completed to the <br />satisfaction of the City Engineer, the Developer shall provide current Erosion and <br />Sediment Control Plans, for all portions of the site where construction is ongoing. Said <br />Plans shall be submitted to the City Engineer for review and approval on or before <br />September 1 of each calendar year, and shall be fully implemented on or before <br />October 15 of each calendar year. <br /> <br />5. During construction, the following high standards for sanitation are required: Garbage <br />cans, construction dumpsters, and debris piles shall be removed on a minimum weekly <br />basis. All food related trash items such as wrappers, cans, bottles, and food scraps shall <br />be disposed of in closed containers only and shall be regularly removed from the site. <br />Inspections, conducted as part of the regular construction compliance, will be <br />conducted to ensure compliance of the Developer and contractors with this <br />requirement. <br /> <br />6. All on-site storm drain inlets must be labeled "No Dumping -Drains to Bay" using <br />thermo-plastic paint or approved methods. <br /> <br />E. WATER SYSTEM <br /> <br />1. Prior to approval of the Final Map for the project, the Developer shall submit signed <br />agreements with EBMUD, for the construction of the proposed water main <br />connections. The main connection shall be made on Lewelling Boulevard with a <br />shared main connection for the development. <br /> <br />2. On site EBMUD street fire hydrants with mInImUm fire flow and spacing In <br />accordance with the San Leandro Uniform Code will be required. Prior to <br />installation, the Fire Department shall approve the location of the fire hydrants. A <br />water supply shall be in place prior to combustible material being moved into any <br />phase of the project. <br /> <br />F. SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM <br /> <br />1. A joint service lateral of minimum 6 inches shall be provided in the private drive and <br />public utility easement area to make one connection to the sewer line on Lewelling <br />Boulevard. All required improvements are subject to the review and approval of the <br />City Engineer and shall be constructed as part ofthe Subdivision improvements. <br /> <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />
