CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m. <br /> <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> <br />Joe Collier led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />B. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Members Badger, Grant, Nardine, Santos, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Young <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />2. PRESENTATIONS/RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />Mayor Young announced the following presentations made in the past month: <br /> <br />. A Commendation was issued to Oakland District 7 City Couneilmember Larry Reid for <br />his support of the Oakland/San Leandro Job Fair. <br />. A Commendation was issued to Louis Heystek for his 8 years of service to the San <br />Leandro Unified School District as a member of the Board of Education. <br />. A Commendation was issued to Alameda County Fire Chief William "Bill" McCammon <br />upon his retirement from the Alameda County Fire Department. <br />. A Proclamation was issued declaring November 19, 2006 as "Bob Maginnis Day" in San <br />Leandro in recognition of his retirement at!cr 33 years of dedicated service in the field of <br />law enforcement. <br /> <br />1 <br />
