That on or about the 21st day of March 2005, the City of San Leandro, a municipal corporation of the State of California having offices at 835 East 14th Street, San Leandro, California, did enter into a certain contract with MCGUIRE AND HESTER, 9009 RAILROAD AVENUE, OAKLAND, CA 94603, as contractor, for a certain work of improvement: to wit, WEST ESTUDILLO PEDESTRIAN CONNECTION PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 03-961-86-045, FEDERAL-AID PROJECT NO. S TPLER-5041 (023). 2. That the name of the surety upon the bond of the Contractor for said work of improvement is as follows: Western Surety Company. 3. That said work of improvement was accepted by the City Council of the City of San Leandro as completed on the 17th day of July 2006. 4. The nature of the interest or estate of the City of San Leandro as owner of the WEST ESTUDILLO PEDESTRIAN CONNECTION PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 03-961- 86-045, FEDERAL-AID PROJECT NO. STPLER-5041(023), is that of public right- of-way in certain land designated as West Estudillo Avenue, as well as ownership of improvements thereon.
