Mr. Perez expressed interest in <br />secing the median on Doolittle Drive extended (i-om thc Oakland Airpol1 to Williams Street. <br />He suggested the Council consider the idea of licensing cats as a way to generate revenue and <br />limit thc nLlmber of cats per household. <br /> <br />Lou Filipovich, 15376 Lavernc Drive, addressed the City Council regarding the minutes of <br />the City Council Meeting of Dccember 15, stating at least 99% ofthe residents do not access <br />the City's websitc or watch the Government access cable channel. Mr. Filipovich spoke <br />regarding violations or the Grown Act and Public Records Act by local agencies in recent <br />years. <br /> <br />6. CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS AND COMMENTS <br /> <br />City Manager Jemlanis addressed the issue of leaves, and thanked Public Works Services <br />Director Bob Rockett and his staff for their efTol1s to keep the stonn drains clcancd in an <br />eC!()11 to prevent flooding. Mr. Jennanis pointed out that the City relies on citizens to assist in <br />the cleanup or leaves and that leaf bags arc available at various locations throughout the City. <br /> <br />Regarding cat licensing, Mr. Jermanis noted the subject has been considered in the past. He <br />stated the need fix dog licensing in order to identify the dog's owner in the cvent it bites <br />someone. Mr. JCD11anis pointed out that this is not a problem with cats. <br /> <br />7. AMENDMENT OF CONSRNT CALENDAR <br /> <br />City Councilmembers or staff have an oPPo11unity at this time to request that an item be <br />removed from the Consent Calendar [or the presentation of a staff report or other special <br />consideration, Members of the Public lnay request, by filing a speaker card prior to the <br />calling of Item 7, Amendment of Consent Calendar, the opportunity to address the City <br />Council regarding items remaining on the Consent Calendar. Items remaining on the Consent <br />Calendar will bc considered for approval under one motion. <br /> <br />Consent Calendar was amended to removc Itcms S.A., S.G., and 8.H. Items will be <br />considered under Item 9. Itcms Rcmoved from Consent Calendar. <br /> <br />8. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Consent Calendar items are considered for approval by the City COLlncil with one single <br />action. As describcd above in Item 7, Amendment of Consent Calendar, the City Council <br />may relnove items from the Conscnt Calendar for purposes of presentation or discussion. <br />Members of the public who have requcstcd to address the Council regarding items remaining <br />
