RepOli on Closed Session Actions Taken <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />11. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> <br />A. Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies <br /> <br />Counci1member Santos reported on the Alameda County COlnmission on Aging <br />Ineeting he attended last week. He noted that it appears that the Area Agency on Aging <br />will not incur significant budget cuts. He commented that major programs will proceed, <br />including the senior center program and some of the food programs. He reported that <br />the Commission is still opposing the funding cuts to In-Hon1e Supportive Services. <br /> <br />Mayor Young reported that the Mayors Conference approved George Tucker's <br />appointment to a second term on the COlnmission on Aging. <br /> <br />Mayor Young commented that Pat Free, the Mayor's appointee to the AC Transit <br />Accessibility Advisory Committee, was forced to resign fron1 the comnlittee due to <br />difficulties with the time of the Ineetings and transportation to and from the meetings. <br />Mayor Young asked the Council if they knew of any public transit user who may be <br />interested in participating on the advisory committee. <br /> <br />B. Reports on City Council Committees <br /> <br />1. Rules and Communications Committee Meeting of June 16, 2004. Accepted as <br />submitted. <br /> <br />Recommendation for City Council Consideration: <br /> <br />a. Schedule for City Council consideration of the approval of the resolution <br />renaming North Dike Road to Mulford Point Drive and renmning of South <br />Dike Road to Pescador Point Drive <br /> <br />By consensus, the City Council approved this recommendation. <br /> <br />12. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Counci1member Grant thanked staff members Hanson Horn, Amalia Lorentz and LYllll <br />Brown for their assistance in providing her with background infoffi1ation for her presentation <br />
