Mr. Baloca <br />noted that the CHP in turn forwards the calls to the City's dispatch center. He stated <br />that in the future, the calls will come directly to the City. <br /> <br />. The public is invited to <br />make COlnments on items of public interest NOT listed on the Agenda. <br /> <br />Wafaa Aborashed, Davis West Neighborhood Group, addressed the City Council regarding a <br />car which caught fire two weeks ago and is still on the street. Ms. Aborashed requested more <br />tin1ely mailing of meeting notices. <br /> <br />Harold Perez, Davis West Neighborhood Group, addressed the City Council, pointing out that <br />the 1999 West San Leandro Advisory Comlnittee recommendations state that all homes on <br />the westerly side of the soundwall at Westgate Shopping Center will be insulated and have <br />double-paned windows. Mr. Perez cOlnmented regarding the traffic on Marina Boulevard and <br />expressed concern that the Westgate Parkway extension will not alleviate traffic on Davis <br />Street. <br />
