Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> <br />The Hanler falnily led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />B. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Members Badger, Glaze, Grant, Nardine, Santos, Stephens; Mayor Young <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />2. PRESENTATIONS/RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />A. Recognition of the Enlployee of the Month for the Month of December 2004, <br />Kelly HaIner, Planner I, Conl111unity Developlnent Departnlent. <br /> <br />Kelly Hanler was present to receive her award. <br /> <br />B. Resolution Conl1nending Adriann 1. McCall for her Years of Service 011 the Plalming <br />Comnlission. <br /> <br />Adliann McCall was not able to attend the 11leeting. The Resolution was signed by the <br />City Council and will be presented to Ms. McCall by Councilmelnber Surlene Grant at <br />the Planning Conllnission 111eeting on Decelnber 9, 2004. <br /> <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Public Healing COlnlnents are linlited to 5 minutes per person, subject to adjustment by the <br />Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it <br />to the City Clerk so the order of speakers Inay be determined and an official record of names <br />and addresses obtained. <br /> <br />A. Matter of Establishnlent of Assessment District No. 2004-1 (Walnut Drive) <br />(establishes assessnlent district to provide a paved road\vay on Walnut Drive). Cost: <br />$335,000. <br /> <br />This being the tinle and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, City Manager <br />J ennanis gave an overview of the item and introduced Principal Engineer Keith Cooke. <br />Mr. Cooke narrated a short PowerPoint presentation providing background on the <br />nlatter and infonnation on the fonnation process for the assessment district for Walnut <br />Drive. <br /> <br />The Hearing was then opened to the Public. <br />
