<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-094 <br /> <br />(2938/2959) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPLY FOR A <br />TRANSPORTATION FUND FOR CLEAN AIR (TFCA) REGIONAL GRANT FOR A <br />BART-TO-WEST-SAN LEANDRO SHUTTLE SERVICE IN AN AMOUNT <br />NOT TO EXCEED $100,000 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District has a Transportation Fund for <br /> <br />Clean Air (TFCA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, one of the transpOliation control nleasures that IS eligible for funding IS <br /> <br />provision of shuttle/feeder bus projects; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to apply for a TranspOliation Fund <br /> <br />for Clean Air Regional Grant for a BART to West San Leandro Shuttle Service in an an10unt not to <br /> <br />exceed $100,000. <br /> <br />Introduced by Counciln1ember Badger and passed and adopted this 17th day of July 2006, by <br /> <br />the following called vote: <br /> <br />Men1bers of the Council: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Badger, Grant, Santos, Starosciak, Stephens; Mayor Young (6) <br /> <br />NOES: None (0) <br /> <br />ABSENT: Councilnlelnber Nardine (1) <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~,~ <br /> <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
