<br />PROPOSED AMENDMENT NO.2 TO THE 1986 EXPENDITURE <br />PLAN <br /> <br />Thus, pursuant to the enabling legislation of Measure B, under Public Utility Code <br />Sections 131304 and 131050, which allows for the Authority to add, delete a project, or <br />to make changes of major significance, Amendment No.2 to the 1986 Alameda County <br />Transportation Expenditure Plan has been approved to reflect the following: <br /> <br />1. Dclete the Route 238 and Route 84 Project currently included in the Expenditurc <br />Plan's Essential Transportation Project List as shown below: <br /> <br />Project: <br />Cost: <br />Sponsor: <br /> <br />Route 238 and Route 84 <br />$77 million <br />Caltrans <br /> <br />Sales tax contribution: $67 million <br /> <br />Deseriptirm: <br /> <br />Route 238 (Alission Boulevard) will be built as a six lane roadway from <br />Industrial Parkwa}' to Route 81 Hear Decoto Road. Route 81 H'ill then <br />bc built along a previously adopted alignment where rights of,vay hm'e <br />been acquired tf) i,'ltersect with 880. <br /> <br />,"/ote: Although the new Route 81 willlikeZv intersect Route 238 <br />somewhere north oJPera!ta A,lenA'c, the six lane eon)'entional road is <br />intended to extend to Peralta Avenue. The remaining $10 million to <br />complctc the Route will comefrom other .','ourees; i,c., local <br />assessment districts, thus providing IcveragingJor the saks tal( funds. <br />The project is contingent upon receipt oj the $10 million. If it is not <br />forthcoming, the prq/ecf wi/! not be built.
