<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-113 <br /> <br />(3099) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND SAN LEANDRO HISTORICAL RAILWAY SOCIETY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City owns that certain real property and improvements known as the Davis <br />Street Southern Pacific Passenger/Freight Station (the "S.P. Depot"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the San Leandro Historical Railway Society (the "SLHRS") desires to lease <br />the S.P. Depot in order to operate a historical railroad museum which shall be open to the public; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreenlent between the City of San Leandro and San Leandro Historical <br />Railway Society, a copy of which is attached, and which supersedes the previous agreement, has <br />been presented to this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council is fmniliar with the contents thereof. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does hereby RESOLVE: <br /> <br />That said agreenlent is hereby approved and execution thereof is hereby authorized. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Badger and passed and adopted this 2nd day of October, <br />2006 by the following called vote: <br /> <br />Members of the Council: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmenlbers Badger, Grant, Santos, Starosciak, Stephens; Mayor Young (6) <br /> <br />NOES: None (0) <br /> <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Nardine (l) <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
