CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Badger comrnented on the San Leandro Times news article regarding Street <br />Maintenance worker Jerry Camlona, saying he is a big fan of Mr, Cat1110na, He wanted to <br />also acknowledge the other "4 a.m. and 5 a.m. Street Wani.ors" who do a great job keeping <br />the downtown streets clean. Councilmember Badger announced Earth Day is coming up and <br />suggested it would be a good opportunity to give the Clean and Green program a boost. <br /> <br />Coullcilmember Santos asked lor an update on the railroad spur problem on Aurora Drive. <br />City Manager Jemlanis repor1ed as a result of Councilmcmber Santos' identification of the <br />problem, the railroad spur will be removed. He requested tonight's meeting be adjou111ed in <br />mernory of Chuck Deadrich. Councilmcmber Santos commented on Mr. Filipovieh's <br />appearances before, and criticism oC the City Council. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Ghll:e requested a (ollow-up on the Citywide Cleanup and Oro Loma Sanitary <br />District. Assistant City Manager Ed Schilling stated that based on the direction given hy <br />Council following his presentation, staf!' has been working to develop a detailed program to <br />present to Council.
