ITEMS REMOVED FROM CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Public comnlents are linlited to 3 minutes per person per item. <br /> <br />8K.Resolution No. 2003-087, resolution designating No Parking on Haas Avenue, from East <br />14th Street to W oodland Avenue, on street sweeping day, between 8: 00 a.m. and 12 noon <br />(establishes a No Parking/Tow Away zone on Haas Avenue, from East 14th Street to <br />Woodland Avenue on street sweeping day). (1022) <br /> <br />City Manager J emlanis noted the City is aware of the issues raised by Mr. Gallo and <br />reported the City has implemented the same procedure on Marina Boulevard with good <br />success. Mr. J ennanis stated Haas Avenue is scheduled to be swept once a month with <br />one side of the street swept on Tuesday and the other side on Thursday. It is expected <br />SOlne of the cars will move onto side streets, and the Public Works Department will <br />identify and report those streets on which there is a problem with cars not being moved on <br />street sweeping day. City staff has spoken with the apartment owner at 96 Haas Avenue <br />regarding not charging tenants for parking. <br /> <br />M/S/C Stephens and Glaze.
