Minute Order No. 2002-17, Matter of Dissolution of Obsolete City Council Ad <br />Hoc Committees. (1156) <br /> <br />The City Council approved the dissolution of obsolete City Council Ad Hoc <br />Committees, as follows: <br /> <br />City Council Vacancy, District I, Ad Hoc Committee Re. <br />Large Homes and Additions, City Council Ad Hoc Committee to <br />Discuss Policy Regarding <br /> <br />M/S/C Loeffler and Santos. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />8. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Public Comments on New Business items arc permitted if a Speaker Card is submitted <br />before the staff presentation is completed. Each speaker will be al10wed 3 minutes for <br />eonunents. <br /> <br />Items removed from the Consent Calendar: <br /> <br />7.B Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Contractual Services Agreement <br />for the Development of a Master Plan for Paratransit Services. Cost: $32,727. <br />Funding: Measure B Transportation Funds. <br /> <br />Council Members discussed the need for improved paratransit services within San <br />Leandro and the funding that will ultimately be made available. It was also noted that <br />data from this study should be made available to seniors and the Senior Commission. <br /> <br />The Mayor mentioned an opportunity for one of the community's senior citizens to <br />serve on the Area Agency on Aging. She indicated that anyone who might be <br />interested should contact her. <br /> <br />The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2002-26, Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a <br />Contractual Services Agreement for the Development of a Master Plan for <br />Paratransit Services.
