Resolution No. 2001-3, Resolution Authorizing Supplemental Appropriation of <br />General Fund Money for the Increased TDA 2000-2001 Grant for the Installation <br />of Bike Lanes Throughout the City (authorizes appropriation of General Funds in <br />the amount of $30,587 for the increase in TDA grant funding to install bike lanes <br />at various locations throughout the City). Minute Order No. 2001-1, Matter of Annual Report of the San Leandro <br />Redevelopment Agency, Fiscal Year 1999-2000 (outlines expenditures and <br />activities of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency for Fiscal Year 1999-2000, <br />pursuant to Health and Safety Code, Section 33080). (2096) <br /> <br />The City Council removed the matter of the Annual Report of the San <br />Leandro Redevelopment Agency, Fiscal Year 1999-2000, from the City <br />Council Agenda entirely. <br /> <br />8. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Items removed from the Consent Calendar: <br /> <br />7.B Matter of Airport Gateway Improvement Project. <br /> <br />Council Member Santos expressed his opposition to these Resolutions and indicated <br />that a majority of the funding, if not all, should come from the Port of Oakland. He <br />urged his colleagues to vote "NO" on these resolutions. <br /> <br />The City Manager explained that San Leandro had agreed to be the lead agency with <br />the City's engineers administering the contract, using federal funds. He further <br />clarified that each agency is responsible for different phases of the Airport Gateway <br />Project and will identify their own funding implementation sources. <br /> <br />Council Member Santos reiterated his opposition to this matter. <br />
