Resolution No. 2001-20 (CC) and Resolution No. 2001-2 (SLRA), Joint <br />Resolution of the City Council of the City of San Leandro and the San Leandro <br />Redevelopment Agency Adopting the Central San Leandro/BART Area <br />Revitalization Strategy and Adopting a Mitigated Negative Declaration of <br />Environmental Impact Including a Mitigation Monitoring Program (provides a <br />strategy for linking downtown to the BART Station through pedestrian streetscape <br />improvements and provides development guidelines for opportunity sites in the <br />downtown BART area). (1012/2888) <br /> <br />Hanson Horn, Development Services Director, gave an overview of the strategy <br />and introduced Debbie Potter, Redevelopment Administrator, who explained the <br />proposal in more detail. Ms. Potter then introduced Terry Bottomley, Consultant, <br />who went over the proposal via a slide presentation. <br /> <br />City Council! Agency discussion ensued regarding BART's plans for a parking <br />structure to the west of the existing BART station. Issues relating to the impacts <br />of BART parking on the surrounding residential neighborhood were also <br />discussed. It was noted the State is in the process of doing a study regarding high- <br />
