<br />Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council and <br />San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting - April 2, 2001 <br /> <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />D. Bob Battinich, 14349 Washington, addressed the City Council representing <br />Citizens for Responsible Redevelopment. He expressed concerns regarding the <br />requested increase in fees at the Estudillo Parking Garage, and the recent request <br />to hire a Public Information Officer for the City Manager's Office. <br /> <br />5. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT AND COMMENTS <br /> <br />The City Manager commented on the restaurants that are available at the Marina. <br /> <br />6. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> <br />A. Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies <br /> <br />Council Member Grant reported on ACAP (Association for Community Action <br />Programs) noting that the group has up to $400,000 in grants to give to <br />organizations. It was noted that their primary focus is on housing. <br /> <br />B. Reports on City Council Committees <br /> <br />1. Economic Development and Redevelopment Committee Meeting on March 27, <br />2001. Accepted as presented. <br /> <br />Council Member Santos requested additional information on the upcoming <br />industrial development bonds to be issued. <br /> <br />2. Facilities Committee Meeting of March 20, 2001. Accepted as presented. <br /> <br />3. Finance Committee Meeting of March 15, 2001. Accepted as presented. <br /> <br />4. Rules and Communications Committee Meeting of March 22, 2001. Accepted <br />as presented. <br /> <br />7. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Consent Calendar items are typically routine in nature and are considered for approval <br />by the City Council with one single action. The City Council may remove items from <br />the Consent Calendar for purposes of discussion. Items listed on the Consent <br />Calendar are deemed to have been read by title. <br /> <br />Item 7.F was removed from the Consent Calendar to New Business. The <br />remaining items on the Consent Calendar were approved as follows: <br /> <br />M/S/C Galvan and Loeffier. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br />
