The City Attorney commented on the tl.,llowing changes to the agreements. . An addendum to the Hatarse Agreement to provide that if Mr. Batarse defaults on his obligation to provide a new car dealership, the neighboring property owner will have the first right of refusal to purchase the property and locate a dealership on the site Both dealers will have a reciprocal right because they have the most motivation to corne in, if there is def~lldt, and make sure a dealership is built . An addendum to the Agreement with the Lavery California Dealerships the agreement currently obligates the Agency to turn over the property on February 1, 2002. That date will be amended to March I, 2002, to allow the Yokota Nursery sufficient time to vacate the property The Agency will be reimbursing Lavery Calitcmlia Dealerships for part of the financing costs for that additional 30 days.
