Resolution of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro Approving <br />an Owner Participation Agreement (OP A) Between the San Leandro <br />Redevelopment Agency and General Foundry Services for the Development of <br />Property Located in the West San Leandro/MacArthur Boulevard Redevelopment <br />Project Area Located at 2420 and 2424 Merced Street, Assessor's Parcel Numbers <br />077A-0647-00l-27 and 077A-0647-00l-38, for Renovation of Two Existing <br />Buildings Encompassing Approximately 48,975 Square Feet (specifies certain <br />upgrades to the site including landscaping, fayade treatments, site remediation and <br />maintenance. Additionally, the agreement allows for a $150,000, ten-year loan to <br />offset certain improvement costs.). Cost: $150,000 Funding: West San <br />Leandro/MacArthur Boulevard Project Area Redevelopment Funds. <br /> <br />Seth Hudson, Business Development Specialist, gave a brief staff report to the <br />City Council regarding the Owner Participation Agreement. <br /> <br />Council Member Santos recommended correcting the spelling of the name of the <br />law firm that is representing General Foundry Services. <br /> <br />Public; Comments: <br /> <br />Dan Walters, Redevelopment Advisory Committee, addressed the City Council <br />encouraging the members to support the revitalization project. <br /> <br />Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, addressed the City Council questioning <br />why the City doesn't give forgivable loans to senior homeowners to upgrade their <br />properties. <br />
