Each grant received is approved utilizing a Supplement Agreement to the Master <br />Agreement detailing the requirements or that specific grant. This Master Agreement is intended <br />to reflect the new provisions of the Intermodal Surface Transportation EfJlciency Act (lSTEA), <br />continued applicability for the Transportation Equity Act [or the 21 st Century (TEA21), and the <br />current I,ocal Assistance procedures. <br /> <br />Upon the City Council authorizing the City Manager to execute the updated Administering <br />Agency-State Master Agreement No. 04-5041 R, the City will be able to cOlnpete for federal <br />Ilrnds when they are available, <br /> <br />Analysis <br /> <br />Ihe updated Master Agreement is intended to address modifications to the general requirements <br />of all federal-aid projects Il.)r the implementatIon of' projects and the maintenance of completed <br />r:'lcilities. To continue to receive reimbursements for completed projects, as well as to apply lor <br />new rederal-aid {l.)r road improvements, the City is required to execute the Agreement. <br /> <br />Current City Council Policv <br /> <br />.
