<br />6-1-430(d) Parking ofCollllllercial Vehicles - Residential: <br /> <br />(1) No vehiclc having morc than two axles, or any single commercial vchicle <br />or combination of' said vehicles, which exceed twenty (20) feel in length or seven (7) feet or <br />more in height, any single commercial vehicle or combination or said vehicles seven (7) red or <br />more in width, or any singlc commercial vehicle or combination 01' said vehicles having a <br />manu f~lcturer's gross vehicle weight rating often thousand (10,1)00) pounds or more shall be <br />parked or left standing upon any street in any Residence District as defined by California Vehicle <br />Code section 515, except: <br /> <br />(i) ror such reasonable tinle in excess of two (2) hours that may be necessary <br />f'or the purpose 0 f'making pickups or deliveries of goods, wares, and merchandise fro111 or to any <br />building or structure or Cor the purpose of'delivering materials to be used ror repair, alteration, <br />rernodeling, or construction of'any building or structure upon ,I restricted street or highway; or <br /> <br />(ii) For such reasonable time in excess octwo (2) hours that rnay be necessary <br />when such vehicle is parked in connection wilh the percormanee or a service to or on a property <br />ill which sLlch vehicle is parked; or <br /> <br />(iii) For such reasonable time in excess of two (2) hours that may be necessary <br />time to make emergency repairs. <br /> <br />(iv) No regulations adopted in this section shall apply to any vehicle owned by <br />a public utility or licensed contract while necessarily in use in the construction, installation, or <br />repair of;l1lY public utility, <br /> <br />Section 4. <br />--..- -- <br /> <br />EfTeclive Date and Publication. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall take eOeci thirty (:W) days after adoption and the title thereof shall <br />be publishcd once prior to adoption. <br /> <br />Section 5. <br />-..".--- <br /> <br />Severabi lity. <br /> <br />If any section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of the <br />ordinance is for any reason held to he unconstitutional, invalid, or inefCective by any court 01' <br />competent jurisdiction, slIch decision shall not affect the validity or elTectiveness of the <br />remaining portions or this Ordinance or any part hereol', The City Council hereby declares ll1at it <br />would have passed each section of'the Ordinance irrespective orthe fact that one or more of' <br />them would be declared unconstitutional or invalid.
