A <br />summary of the Annual Action Plan was published in the newspaper. The Plan will be <br />available at City Hall, in the main library, and on the City's web site for a 30-day <br />comment period from March 14 - April 16, 2007. A second public hearing will be held <br />on April 16, 2007. <br /> <br />Fiscal Impact <br />HUD will enter into contract with the City for the grant amount. The grant is on a <br />reimbursement basis with funds being reimbursed by BUD after expenditure by the City <br />for activities designated in the Consolidated Action Plan. <br /> <br />Bud2et Authority <br />Budget authority is derived from Title I of the Housing and Community Development <br />Act of 1974 (24 CFR 570 et seq.). <br /> <br />Attachments: <br />A. Draft FY 2007-08 Annual Action Plan (for CDBG and HOME Funds) <br /> <br />CONCLUSION <br /> <br />Staff recommends the City Council hold a public hearing, provide direction to staff on the <br />FY2007-08 Annual Action Plan, make the Plan available for public comment for a period of 30 <br />days from March 14 - April 16, 2007, and set a public hearing for April 16, 2007 to consider <br />final approval of the Plan. <br />
