<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-035 <br /> <br />(1140B) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING EAST BAY DISCHARGERS AUTHORITY (EBDA) <br />THIRD AMENDED JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT (JP A) TO PROVIDE FOR <br />MORE EFFICIENT BIDDING AND PROCUREMENT PROCEDURES <br /> <br />The City of San Leandro, City of Hayward, Oro Lorna Sanitary District, Castro Valley <br />Sanitary District, and Union Sanitary District entered into a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement <br />(JP A) dated February 15, 1974, establishing the East Bay Dischargers Authority (EBDA). <br /> <br />A Third Amended JP A among the above parties, a copy of which is attached, has been <br />presented to this Council. <br /> <br />The City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br /> <br />The City Manager has recommended the execution of said amended JP A. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOL VB, as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That said Third Amended JP A is hereby approved and execution thereof is hereby <br />authorized. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Stephens and passed and adopted this 19th day of March, <br />2007 by the following called vote: <br /> <br />Members of the Council: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Grant, Gregory, ProIa, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos <br /> <br />(7) <br />(0) <br />(0) <br /> <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
