EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES This contract is to provide additional professional services to assist the City with construction support for the Effluent Irrigation Project at the Monarch Bay Golf Complex. The scope includes responding to request for information (RFls), reviewing submittals, conducting periodic site observations, providing startup engineering support, and preparing record drawings. This scope and contract amount is in addition to the previous contract services agreement signed by Kennedy/Jenks Consultants on February 2, 2007. Task 1 - Construction Support - Office Services During the construction phase, Consultant shall provide office support services to the City which are as follows: · Review Requests for Information (RFls): RFls submitted to the Contractor will be reviewed and necessary guidance will be provided to the Contractor on the interpretation of Contract Documents. An additional 20 RFls are included in the scope of services. Effort is estimated at 5 hours per review · Submittal Reviews: Consultant shall review data submitted by the Contractor to verify that they conform to the contract Documents. An additional 20 submittals and resubmittals are included in the scope of services. Effort is estimated at 3 hours per review. · Change Orders: Consultant shall prepare, if necessary, Change Orders to modify the contract as necessary as requested by the City. Two (2) Change Orders are included in the scope of services. Effort is estimated at 20 hours per Change Order. · Record Drawings: Consultant shall prepare Record Drawings based on information (Sketches, Clarifications and Change Orders) furnished by the Contractor and City personnel. One full set of drawings shall be provided to the City along with an electronic copy prepared in Portable Document Format (pdt). Effort is estimated at 3 hours per sheet with 25 sheets anticipated. Task 2 - Construction Support - Field Services During the construction phase, Consultant shall provide field support services to the City which are as follows: · Site Observation: The Project Manager or office engineers assigned to the project shall visit the construction site for purpose of performing specialized inspections, coordinating work and/or milestone inspection, or to perform other mutually agreed upon work. An additional four (4) 4 -hr visits are anticipated for the Project Manager or other office engineers assigned to the project · Geotechnical Field Support: Fugro, as a sub consultant, shall provide geotechnical field observations and limited on-site testing.
