Audrey Albers shared that the marina should remain open space for children and
grandchildren and submitted a letter which is attached.

Gerd Marggraff shared that he has been in the maritime industry for over 20 years and that
there were options for maintaining the channel depth, including a sediment agitation system
and hydro ejection dredging systems. He believes the dredging could be completed for much
less than millions of dollars. He stated that he'd like to review three dredging options with
the City Engineer and submitted a copy of his speech which is attached.

John Faria read a letter from Paul Nahm which is attached.

Al Fernandez shared that he has a 25-foot boat and enjoys coffee at the Marina every
morning. He stated that last time the channel was dredged, it was only dredged to the fourth
marker. He wanted to know what the City would call the marina if the boats are gone. He
questioned why there is money for median projects, but not the harbor. Finally, he shared
that the trash cans need lids to prevent trash from blowing everywhere. City Manager
responded that the MacArthur Blvd. and Lewelling Blvd. median projects were completed
with funds available only for those projects.

Robert Brannan from the Recreation and Parks Commission shared that the Commission is
available to assist the City as needed.

5.
