FY 2007-08 Consolidated Action Plan 3 April 16, 2007 providing opportunities for home ownership, preserving and rehabilitating existing affordable owner-occupied and rental housing, and addressing special needs populations. Code Compliance Review N/A Board/Commission Findines N/A Summary Of Public Outreach Efforts In accordance with the City's Citizen Participation Plan, which is required under the Consolidated Plan, notices of both public hearings have been published in the newspaper and sent to a CDBG mail list of interested parties. A summary of the Annual Action Plan was published in the newspaper prior to each of the two public hearings as well. The draft Plan was made available at City Hall, the Main Library, and on the City website for the required 30-day comment period from March 14 through April 16, 2007. A second public hearing will be held on April 16, 2007. Fiscal Impact HUD will enter into contract with the City for the grant amount. The grant is on a reimbursement basis with funds being reimbursed by HUD after expenditure by the City for activities designated in the Annual Action Plan. Budeet Authority Budget authority is derived from Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (24 CFR 570 et seq.). Attachments: A. CONCLUSION Staff recommends the City Council hold a second public hearing and adopt the resolution approving the Final FY 2007-08 Annual Action Plan authorizing the execution of all relevant documents by the City Manager and submitting the Action Plan to the Alameda County HOME Consortium and HUD.
