DRAFT 4/02107 4-23-200 ACUPUNTURE OR MASSAGE ESTABLISHMENT. No Person shall engage in, conduct or carry on, or permit to be engaged in, conducted or carried on, in or upon any premises in the City of San Leandro, the operation of an acupuncture or massage establishment without first having obtained a permit therefore from the City Manager in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter. Section 5. Section 4-23-205 of Title 4 ofthe San Leandro Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: 4-23-205 SEPARATE LOCATIONS. A separate permit must be obtained for each branch location in which the operation of an acupuncture or massage establishment is to be carried on. Section 6. Section 4-23-210 of Title 4 of the San Leandro Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: 4-23-21 0 DISPLAY OF PERMIT - ACUPUNCTURE ESTABLISHMENT; MASSAGE ETABLISHMENT. Every acupuncture and massage permit issued pursuant to the provisions of this Chapter shall at all times be displayed in a conspicuous place within the acupuncture or massage establishment. Section 7. Section 4-23-215 of Title 4 of the San Leandro Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: 4-23-215 ACUPUNCTURIST; MASSEUR; MASSEUSE PERMIT REQUIRED. No person shall, in or upon any premises in the City of San Leandro, act in the capacity of acupuncturist, masseur or masseuse without first having obtained a permit therefore from the City Manager in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter. Section 8. Section 4-23-220 of Title 4 ofthe San Leandro Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: 4-23-220 IDENTIFICATION NAMEPLATE. Every person acting in the capacity of acupuncturist, masseur or masseuse shall, at al times when so engaged, wear on the front of his or her outermost garment an identification nameplate containing his or her photograph, name and permit number. Section 9. Section 4-23-300 of Title 4 of the San Leandro Municipal Code is hereby amended as follows: 949970-2 3
