I live in the neighborhood of this proposed development, but not directly next to it. We live on Dutton
Ave, HOWEVER< I can see and read that those living right near this proposed development have done so
much research to learn that the developer is asking for exceptions to many rules such as landscaping
requirements, parking, set-backs and that feels very unacceptable to me. Why is he/she being permitted to
receive exceptions? Is it because that part of the neighborhood is not of someone's primary concern since i'ts
not so classy? This might only exacerbate that further.

I would also like to hear back from you about any traffic flow study that might predict the effects of many cars
leaving that area in the early morning and returning at night. Please ask the traffic engineers/ your group to
estimate the potential flow problems at the nearby stoplight intersections including Dutton and Macarthur and
send the BNA list a memo re such.

The neighborhood is so concerned about crime, as you know. We experience it CONSTANTLY. Do you??
There are some concerns that this proposed density of living spaces might attract more crime. Can you
demonstrate differently?

Thank you for listening to us. Most of us in this neighborhood feel so strongly about choices made near our
homes, and I'm sure you would too.
Leslie Salmon-Zhu

Leslie Salmon-Zhu
Graphic Recording/Facilitation
graphicrecorders.com
(5 10) 562-8872 (ph)
(5 10) 562-8024 (fax)

1
