We are within I 1/2 blocks of the proposed <br />development at 311 MacArthur Blvd. We were supportive of the initial proposal. <br /> <br />The current proposal, with the requests for multiple variances and drastic changes from the original plan, will <br />only serve to cause serious safety and quality of life reductions in the surrounding community. <br /> <br />The rules and regulations, as written, are designed to protect that safety and quality of life. I ask you, as the <br />protectors of our community standards, to reject any variances that would create a negative impact on the <br />surrounding community. I also ask that you work to ensure the density of the project is in keeping with the <br />surrounding community, avoiding excess traffic and parking overflow. <br /> <br />Please make our feelings known to the rest of the planning department, the city council and Mayor Santos. <br /> <br />Thank you. <br />Mr. and Mrs. R.
